Behind the Art

Claire Paul is a Scottish illustrator based in Newquay, Cornwall. The mutable nature of the countryside around her inspires Claire's gentle and hazy depictions of rural scenery.

Her illustrations use considered colour palettes and brushstrokes to explore feelings of memory and nostalgia. Claire currently spends her time as a freelance creative working on commissions as well as her own personal brand; Claire Paul Illustration.
