Carla Petelski

Carla Petelski is a Belgian artist, born and raised in Brussels. Her artistic practice involves various tools, such as pencil and pastel drawing, as well as painting. She creates structured botanical compositions and expresses herself through a rich palette inspired by fauna and flora. Carla depicts demonstrative characters using a very saturated color palette and subtle expressions.

Her work explores themes of love and loss in human relationships, inspired by her own experiences. She captures the emotions and sensitivity of everyday life. Her characters reflect self-awareness and deep thought, portraying the distorted beauty of daily existence.
