Behind the Art

Ästhet by Anne Schäfer was founded 2020 in Hanover, GermanyAnne Schäfer is the designer behind the multidisciplinary Design studio Ästhet, she creates contemporary artworks on paper but also experiments with other materials such as clay and different kind of textiles, Designer Anne Schäfer studied Visual Communication in Hanover, Germany. She also studied one semester abroad on the Swedish school of textiles in Borås.

Art has played a role in her life since she was a kid – her parents, both architects, took her and her brother to exhibitions since they were young. During her years of studying Anne experimented with different art forms such as screen printing, clay, etching, photography and a lot of drawing. Ästhet strives to create aesthetic, abstract, minimalistic pieces of contemporary art
