Behind the Art

Astrid Babayan has been an artist since she was very little. She was always sketching on every small piece of paper. Her favorite subjects were architecture and figure study.

The love of art and architecture ran in the family. Reading art books, visiting museums and galleries were favorite family activities.She was sent to an art school at a very young age. In 2011 she earned a master degree in architecture. She’s getting her inspiration from everywhere, from other forms of art, music, photography… Her art is also inspired by the philosophy of the early twentieth-century artists.
